Cobra Group representative joins humanitarian trip

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , on July 8, 2011 by admin

Cobra Group representative Paige Adgemis, who in fact represents the Cobra Foundation, recently joined a humanitarian trip undertaken to Zambia, Botswana and Namibia.

Paige Adgemis was part of a team that comprised of eight Ruyton students, two teachers and one World Challenge leader. It was a four-week trip with Zambia being their first destination. They arrived in Zambia and paid a visit to the incredible Victoria Falls. Then they did their acclimatisation trek to Botswana. They travelled along the ‘Okavango Delta’ on handmade wooden boats similar to canoes called ‘Mokoros’, then travelled through the desert in Namibia and arrived at Waterberg Primary School. This school, their final destination, relies on donations and volunteers to continue educating Namibian Children. The team did some real good work there. Says Paige Adgemis, “On our first day we were faced with the challenge of purchasing all the required equipment with the money fundraised throughout the year. We had to travel for over an hour to get to Otjiwarango, where we spent a tiring and stressful day finding materials and bargaining for the best prices”. They did many things- dug trenches, mixed cement, laid bricks and also did many other chores. The remaining money they spent on providing the children with netballs, soccer balls, pencils and various other goods. They also interacted with the students and heard them out.

Cobra Group representatives have always been accompanying such trips to different places and doing what they could to make things better for others.

Cobra flies high, always!

Cobra Group UK, flies high, really high…always.

It was more than two decades ago that Cobra UK had its genesis, in a flat in Paddington. A few months after this humble beginning, the company was going great, making things work for clients in a brilliant manner. Then on, it has always been flying high in the firmament of direct marketing, registering results that have caused admiration and of course envy as well.

Chris Niarchos, the founder-chairman of the Cobra Group, has made it a policy of sorts to think big and aim for the heights, real great heights in direct marketing. His team had always given him immense support in making true this policy or dream and never has the company gone low, whether it be regarding the results registered or regarding standards set in direct marketing.

From the late 1980′s to 2010, Cobra Group UK has come afar and at present maintains its standing in UK’s direct marketing sector as a peerless, wonderfully different direct marketing company.
